Powered by Centri is a service group within Centri Business Consulting designed to provide small businesses with outsourced accounting services. The outsourced accounting experts at Centri provide flexible options to assist small business leadership in managing as much or as little of their accounting workload as needed. Their unique approach focused on personal relationships helps the Powered by Centri consultants craft unique solutions for their clients.
The Challenge
In order to compete with the “Big Four” in the industry, Centri saw an opportunity to create a website specifically to market their outsourced accounting services. Although the core website for Centri Business Consulting discusses their small business services, a dedicated website was needed to speak to the growing opportunities and needs of their target market. The crux of the website project was to maintain the branding integrity of Centri while creating content that was tailored to the Powered by Centri service offerings.
Our Strategy
We started by crafting unique website content that spoke to the benefits of working with the experts at Powered by Centri, as well as the custom approach and expertise they provide across a variety of industries. We then turned our attention to the website design and development, where we leveraged the existing Centri brand to build credibility and inspire a consistent user experience. During the development of the website, our Internet marketing team worked diligently through our SEO Essentials program. We use SEO Essentials with clients who value Internet marketing but are not ready to embark on a full, comprehensive strategy for their website. At the time of launch, we turned our attention to PPC advertising to help drive traffic to the new website’s domain without the wait time associated with organic search strategies. We also built a strategic linking plan between the Powered by Centri and Centri Business Consulting sites for an increased opportunity of audience share and flow.
The Results
Within the first six months of the site launching, we saw over 900 website visitors. Comparatively, the outsourced accounting page of the main Centri site saw only 4% of that traffic in the same time period. Half of the traffic came from paid search which was the only proactive digital marketing medium in use. Looking ahead, we’re kickstarting an organic Internet marketing plan that will help Powered by Centri carve out a place in the market and steadily increase their website traffic.
